April 8, 2025 WWE NXT featured the highly anticipated debut of the newly formed team Swipe Right. Their in-ring debut came before an attitude-packed crowd with certainty as they made it clear that they were going out there with the intention of breaking down competition.
Their initial bout with Nathan Frazer and his team at the time, Axiom, was not for the title since Frazer held the NXT Tag Team title but had his team with him at the moment.
Baylor and Smokes who had made their WWE Evolve debut had brought in new dynamism in NXT tag team action. Their backstage altercation with Fraxiom accompanied by The Fraternity the week before had indicated the beginning of this eagerly waited bout.
Fraxiom Proves Why They're Champions
Fraxiom established themselves as skilled tag team wrestlers in their control segment with their aerial exploits confusing Swipe Right while Frazer applied his quickness and timing in each fighting maneuver.
Axiom initially sent Baylor out of commission that paved the way for Frazer in applying his superkick on Smokes' head prior to ending with his top-rope Phoenix Splash finisher.
Swipe Right's inaugural match did not result in victory, but their presence impressed WWE fans enough that it will be remembered for some time to come. In the high-profile bout the team make their presence known among the champions that fueled growing curiosity among fans as well as wrestlers alike.
WWE are intent on taking maximum mileage out at the team through their fashion-conscious ring presence, their social-media branding template and their their carefully designed wrestling hardware that telegraphs future prosperity.
Alabeet notwithstanding, the team at Swipe Right has enough capability that they can be made into an improved team by NXT.
There is every possibility that they can move up in the ranks after being properly guided prior to additional matches. The team needs further growth before it can become as experienced as Fraxiom is now.
Their success can only stretch even farther into the future with the initial stage of Swipe Right development.
