McIntyre showed fans his serious head wound on Instagram that resurfaced the laceration he received in his 2024 Hell in a Cell match versus CM Punk. McIntyre showed the serious cut on his head which needed 16 staples while he emphasized through his caption that "Some old wounds never fully recover."
Although his injury shows considerable severity McIntyre keeps his WrestleMania 41 matchup against Priest where he will participate in their scheduled Sin City Street Fight event.
