In recent weeks, Naomi has been squarely in the spotlight due to her magnificent Money in the Bank win, as well as some unadulterated backstage antics.

She rocketed to a new level on June 7 at Intuit Dome in Inglewood, as she claimed Women's Money in the Bank briefcase in an intense six-woman ladder match.

The victory not only guaranteed her a prized title match, but it also made her first member of The Bloodline to won the briefcase because of her Anoa family affiliation due to marriage.

The move did not cease then. The tension was released on June 13 SmackDown, when she threatened to cash in the briefcase on Tiffany Stratton.

She came in as Nia Jax attacked champion, but she backpedaled out, leaving the big moment to another occasion. But backstage she was in good morale.

One playful social media message was a tribute to her affection for Jimmy Uso giving her an outstanding post-match hug and suggested there was more to it in her personal life.

Behind the scenes: growth, reflection and plans

After show gossip is not only wrestling ring action. Naomi has started to think about her life and ponder a life outside the squared circle. Last year, during an interview, she noted that she is now 37 and considering having a family sometime in the future and may consider getting out of wrestling.

She has also revisited the audacious exit she had in WWE three years back together with Sasha Banks. Addressing that day as the anniversary event, she was blunt about creatively frustrating and alluding that her future may not be in the ring.

Meanwhile, she is shaping up her role of creativity in WWE. Since she has turned heel the first time since 2016, Naomi has been playing a more hard-edged character, having abandoned her former look of Glow.

Her transformation has given her story new fire and every promo session and confrontation is all the more interesting.
