WWE received a blow when it heard the news of Liv Morgan's injury, who had a shoulder problem during her match against Kairi Sane on the June 16 episode of Monday Night Raw.

Looking back at the images, everyone had understood that the injury was not minor and had assumed that the former world champion's stop would not be short. According to the latest rumors, Liv is destined to be out of WWE for several months and it is almost certain that she will miss both Evolution 2 - in which she was supposed to face Nikki Bella - and SummerSlam, the most prestigious event of the whole summer.

There could not have been a worse time for this injury, considering that WWE management believed a lot in Morgan's potential for the second half of the season and she would certainly have been one of the leading faces of the company during the summer.

Coachman's theory

Through his official X profile, Jonathan Coachman suggested the presence of a link between Liv's injury and WWE's decision to reduce the number of house shows during the season. His idea is that this choice of the WWE management no longer allows athletes to keep their bodies in training, favoring the onset of injuries.

“Liv injury brings up exactly what we talked about yesterday. Lack of house show = possible injury because your cardio can’t possibly be top shelf AND it limits the amount you can do in a match. Body not used to non-stop bumping” – he wrote.

“If you’re playing basketball, if you’re playing football and you don’t play every single week and then you go out there and you’re wanted to play a full game, what’s going to happen? If you’re in the NBA, you’re not practicing—are you going to be in good enough shape? It’s the same thing in wrestling” – Coachman concluded.

Fans and insiders hope that Liv will be able to return to the ring as soon as possible, perhaps by the end of this year.
