Becky Lynch made her in-ring return at WrestleMania 41 this year, proving that she hasn't lost her skills and charisma despite being away from the ring for about a year. Despite the rise of several young stars in the women's division, WWE still needs a legend like 'The Man' who is able to create an interaction with the crowd that has very few equals in the history of this business.
At this stage of his career, the Irish star also wants to devote his time to his family and other projects outside of wrestling. She understood that there are important things outside the ring and it is for this reason that she was absent from WWE for such a long period of time, making fans fear that she could leave wrestling or try a new experience elsewhere (perhaps in All Elite Wrestling).
Becky defeated Bayley via DQ
During the latest episode of Monday Night Raw that was held tonight, Lynch had to defend his Intercontinental title in a match against Bayley. The latter immediately proved to be in excellent shape and put the former world champion in serious difficulty, who risked more than expected and had to use all her skills to avoid a shocking defeat.
At the decisive moment of this challenge, Lyra Valkyria entered the ring and brutally attacked Becky, forcing the referee to end the match with a disqualification. Bayley and Lyra had a brawl in the middle of the ring, while the Irish champion took advantage of that juncture to walk away from the ring taking her Intercontinental title with her.

Everyone's feeling is that this storyline is still far from its conclusion and there will be new chapters in the coming weeks. Meanwhile, Lynch has saved herself and realized that she must raise her level if she wants to keep her belt.
