One of the old faces of WWE is back in waves. Martin Wright, aka Boogeyman, who is now 60 years, has come out publicly with a tearful plea to WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H. Having made his entrance in squared circle with a creepy entrance and wild behavior during his time in SmackDown between 2005 and 2009, Wright is not finished with squared circle.
Recently, Wright resorted to X (previously Twitter), where he shared a straightforward, but very strong message:
"Insert me into the match, Triple H. #WWELEGENDBOOGEYMAN"

That single line has rekindled fan base of those who have been long time fans and still remember his unusual style and cult following.
Although Wright left WWE in 2009, wrestler never left wrestling. He maintained his Boogeyman character on independent circuit and briefly came back in 2012 before making a full time career out of being a fitness instructor. He has a consistent client base and his own training facility, which has been based in Boulder, Colorado since 2018.

And now, his desire to entertain is back, and he wants to take center stage, making him creative department shake. Wright is 60 and claims that he has a lot to give: charisma, body, and a distinctive personality. His demand is more than nostalgic, a plea of passion and persistence. The fans have already gathered around movement online and are hanging on possibility that he may listen to his plea.
It has precedence: WWE has already shocked people with resurrection of cult-favorite acts. As Evolution PPV is coming up with Triple H, and other significant roster changes in future, adding some spice of unpredictability may foster a new life.
