The WWE Hall of Famer was booed from the first to the last minute of his stay in the ring and public opinion was divided on that episode, opening a debate that continued in the following months with conflicting opinions.
The truth is that no one expected such treatment towards the former world champion, although everyone knows that the latter has been the author of negative and controversial behavior in the past that has damaged his image.
In recent weeks, the focus has shifted mainly to Hogan's health after some media reported that he was on his deathbed. His team had denied this rumor and - at one point - his wife had also intervened, specifying that that rumor was not true and that the Hulk was in the hospital to receive neck and back treatment.
It's no secret that injuries sustained during his career as a professional wrestler have also affected Hogan's daily life, as he had to undergo numerous surgeries after his retirement in order to have a normal life.

Despite the reassurances of his entourage, some insiders believe that the Hulk's condition is more serious than expected.
On the latest episode of 'Wrestling Observer Radio', two top analysts such as Dave Meltzer and Garrett Gonzales confided all their concern about the health of the former WWE star.
“I don’t know anything more. He’s obviously been in and out of the hospital. It’s probably not good. We haven’t seen any public appearances or anything in weeks. It’s probably not good” – Gonzales said.
Meltzer also added: “I would say the same thing you said. The way it’s all been done makes me feel like it’s worse than we’re being told.”
The WWE Hall of Famer has not made public appearances for some time now and the situation could be very different from what is described.
